Protein Cinnabone Treat

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops Pro Refit Cinnamon Swirl Protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sweetener of choice (e.g. monk fruit, erythritol)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the topping:

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp granulated sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the protein powder, almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Add in the almond milk, egg, and vanilla extract, and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. While the protein treat is baking, prepare the topping by mixing together the melted butter, sweetener, and cinnamon.
  7. Once the protein treat is done baking, remove it from the oven and pour the topping over the top.
  8. Allow the protein treat to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
